  1. 4-5-94                             DosFax
  2.  
  3.      Dosfax  is used much like a printer driver. You load FAXCOM then  load
  4. FAXCAP  and then go to whatever software you want to create the fax  in.  A
  5. word  processor  or even a paint program.  Before you 'print'  the  created
  6. document, you select either an Epson FX85 (FX80, RX80) driver or a HP Laser
  7. IIP  in  that application. It can only fax fonts you SEND  TO  the  printer
  8. (like  Dos  TrueType).  It cannot FAX Epson or HP fonts!  It  will  try  to
  9. approximate  those  fonts,  but  they will not fax the  same  as  they  are
  10. printed.  Then  use the HOT-KEYS (see p.3-4 3-5 in the  DosFax  manual)  to
  11. capture  when  you select Print  in your application. Then you will  get  a
  12. window and then FAX the document.      See chapter 3 for complete info.

  14.      If  Dosfax does not have your EXACT printer listed, then a rec'vd  fax
  15. may print with spaces, lines or other irregularities.
